We respect your privacy and aim to be clear about the information we collect, why we use it and the choices available to you.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Nfluence collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you visit our website, create an account, use the marketplace, submit a contact message, or otherwise interact with our services.
Nfluence is intended for users in New Zealand and operates in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Principles, as applicable.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Nfluence, we may collect:
- name, email address, login and account details;
- creator profile information, location, categories and portfolio content;
- social account details and publicly available profile information;
- audience, performance and campaign information you choose to provide;
- messages, support requests and contact-form submissions;
- payment, billing and transaction information handled by payment providers;
- device, browser, approximate location, IP address and usage information; and
- information you provide when you report content or a safety concern.
We may also receive information from authentication, payment, analytics and social-platform providers, subject to their own privacy policies and your settings with those services.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- create and manage accounts and creator profiles;
- operate search, discovery, messaging, campaign and booking features;
- process payments, prevent fraud and resolve disputes;
- respond to contact requests and provide customer support;
- protect the security, integrity and availability of Nfluence;
- improve our services, features and user experience;
- send service, security and account communications; and
- meet legal, regulatory, accounting and law-enforcement obligations.
We will not use personal information for unrelated purposes without a lawful basis or, where required, your consent.
4. Public profiles and user content
Some information you add to a creator profile may be visible to other users or the public, including your display name, username, profile image, location, categories, portfolio content and selected audience or social information. Do not add information you do not want displayed.
We may display user content in search results, profile pages and platform marketing materials in accordance with our Terms of Service. You can ask us to correct or remove information, subject to legal, contractual and operational requirements.
5. Sharing information
We may share information with:
- other users where necessary to provide marketplace features;
- hosting, database, authentication, analytics and communications providers;
- payment providers processing transactions on your behalf;
- professional advisers and service providers acting under our instructions;
- law enforcement, regulators or other parties where legally required; and
- a buyer or successor as part of a merger, restructure or sale of the business.
We do not sell personal information. We require service providers to handle information appropriately and only for authorised purposes.
6. International providers and storage
Some providers we use may store or process information outside New Zealand. When this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place and that the information remains protected in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and row-level permissions, to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please protect your credentials and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including account operation, dispute handling, security, legal, tax and accounting requirements. Retention periods vary by the type of information and how it is used.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct or update personal information we hold about you. You may also ask questions about how it is used, request deletion where appropriate, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some information may need to be retained or may not be removable where this is required by law, needed for security, or necessary to complete a transaction or resolve a dispute.

10. Children
Nfluence is not directed at children. Do not create an account or provide personal information if you are under the minimum age required to use the service in your location without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us through the Contact Us form.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. We will publish the updated version and effective date on this page. Your continued use of Nfluence after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
